This Matraquilla is made from 100% Maryam Shell Cordovan in Cognac color. In a rich, warm brown with golden undertones, exuding a timeless elegance. The color deepens with use, developing a stunning patina that enhances its natural luster. The surface is smooth and supple, with a subtle sheen that catches the light, highlighting the tight fiber structure unique to shell cordovan. Over time, Cognac evolves beautifully, becoming richer and more refined, making it a perfect choice for heirloom-quality leather goods.
The interior features the Maryam Shell Cordovan tannery stamp, and thumb notches for easy card/cash removal.
Saddle-stitched by hand with love using natural color Japanese thread. The stitches and hand-finished edges are proof of the dedication and care put into each piece.
Measures ~ 4 ” wide by 2.5 ” tall/10.16 x 6.35 cm when closed. Holds folded cash and up to 6 cards comfortably.
